1965 Mustang Coupe
Our new friends from Alabama brought us their long time family member to receive a face lift and some improved handling along with a little more umph by way of one of our 331 stroker motors. The car will also be getting a Tremec Transmission and Mustang II suspension. In addition to these upgrades it will also have a ground up restoration.
Initial walk around reveals some good rusty areas some past patch work that will have to be repaired correctly, and some modifications that will have to be reversed, like the Cougar taillights and the hole cut in the hood. We also will be removing the Cobra R front valance and replace with stock valance and front bumper. We will also be replacing the 351 w engine that was put in some years back with a nice fresh 331 stroker.
