Mustang Central is a one stop shop for all of your Mustang needs 1964 1/2 to present. We have made it our goal to hire good people who offer something in every aspect of a restoration. This allows us to care for your car from top to bottom. Each employee must have a real passion for their job, as well as, the experience before being a part of Mustang Central or Metal Masters. As owner, my background is a lifetime of being a car buff, and Mustang enthusiast since my teenage years. My back ground in an engineering environment has helped in our goals of making a solid, acccurate build--be it a restoration or restomod. I have training in electronics, sheetmetal, welding, mechanics, chassis, suspension, paint, fabrication, and troubleshooting. When I started this business my goal was to put together a team of people that had the same passion that I had. After many attempts we finally put together a team of people that are top notch in their field. Without them this would still only be a dream. We have built our own jigs for accuracy and speed to incorporate in our building process. Our facilty is made up of four buildings, one that has our office area and new parts inventory, one for sheetmetal, welding, body work, and fabrication , another building for engine/transmission/rear-end/suspension, running gear install, and final assembly, and the last building for paint only. We also have a salvage yard with 150 plus Mustangs for either parts or possible future projects. That's the nuts and bolts of our organization now let me share with you how we work with you on your project. I am old enough to remember the good old days when you could go to your local car dealership and order your car just the way you wanted it. Well that describes us perfectly. If you are going the restomod route, we will discuss in great detail your wishes and provide you with a very detailed estimate of costs and results of your project. You are in charge. You tell us your dreams, goals, and budget, and we will draw up a proposal to get you there. Many of our customers are from out of state, so visiting the shop to see how their project is coming is very difficult. We provide digital pictures as part of your project, you will receive digital pictures by e-mail as your project proceeds. An average project will typically result in 400+ pictures. Same basic principal is used for our concours customers-- you're in charge. How accurate your car will be is based on your budget and goals. You set the bar, and we will meet it--bronze, silver, or Gold. Our policy on funding these projects is pretty simple-- we provide you with a very detailed estimate on a completed project as per our discussion and outlines. We require a 1/3 deposit on the total cost. When that 1/3rd has been depleted we will request additional draws as we proceed. We are very flexible concerning building schedules. We have customers who want the project completed as soon as possible, and we have those who have a limited budget who wish to spread the process over a few years as money allows. You will find that we are very easy to work with.
